eKo has been part of the New Zealand retail landscape for twelve years - and for the last ten, it's been our privilege to lead it.

What started as a fashion boutique bringing beautiful clothing from Italy, Thailand and stunning homewares from Bali has evolved into something much more meaningful.

When we took over eKo, we knew we wanted to bring a deeper dimension to the store - one that went beyond beautiful things and into how those things make you feel. That vision comes from a personal place. In my early forties, I went through one of life's harder seasons. I found my way back through natural processes, self-care rituals, and the kind of intentional living that changes everything. Books like Rhonda Byrne's The Secret opened my eyes to the power of mindset, energy, and the small daily rituals that quietly transform a life. 

That experience became the foundation of Living Soul - the belief that what surrounds us matters. That lighting incense, diffusing an essential oil, or holding a crystal isn't just aesthetic - it's an act of self-care. It's choosing, in a small but real way, to uplift yourself. That's what the Soulful range at eKo is built on. Every incense stick, every essential oil, every backflow burner we carry has been chosen because we believe in what it does - for your space, your mood, and your sense of self.
